NETGEAR attended the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association's annual expo (CEDIA) this month, showing off the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer 8000 HD. The EVA8000 was showcased playing high-definition video directly from a ReadyNAS without a PC. NETGEAR showed off new ISO and IFO file playback support for DVD images as well as playing music, photos and videos from a portable USB drive.

The press was in awe, as was one lucky conference attendee who won a Digital Entertainer in a drawin NETGEAR put together to promote the latest in their digital entertainment line.
