Which tools do you think are best for editing video content? How about audio stuff?

I think what tools are best are the tools that you're familiar with, know how to use, and can be most productive on.

For me, I tend to navigate Adobe's products better than most. So, I'd say my favorites are Premiere Pro with After Effects for video, and Audition for audio. Is it best? Probably not, but I tend to be most productive with it.

Mac or PC?  iMovie is great on the Mac (part of the iLife suite).   MovieMaker is passible on the PC for simple stuff and the price (free) is right!

Jeff, by using VidCrop I make my videos file as it needs for me!!!!!!! I mean size and an expansion!!!  I like that it supports different video formats and very simple in use!!!! Cool

If your video editing needs are limited to removing commercials, I think VideoReDo is pretty handy.  Here's more info on how that works.
