Hi All,

I have been trying to adjust where my wireless router is in my home and even though I get an "excellent" connection with wireless, I am unable to successfully play music and run a photo slideshow at the same time.  However, when I'm wired, I have no problems.  Any suggestions?  I have thought about a NAS solution but I've also thought about attaching a hard drive via USB as well.

My first thought would be bandwidth. What sort of router are you using? If that's not the problem, hopefully someone around here will have some ideas for you. And I'll ask around, too. :-)

I've had a 802.11b and have no problem with the music (128Kbps) + picture (JPEG) slideshow. I couldn't play MPEG movies as it's pausing very often and for a long time. Vic is right about bandwidth. I've upgraded my wireless to G and I've no problem playing MPEG movies.
