Ok, I have the EVA8000 all connected and I was very excited to start using it until I realized that I would have problems with the Tag Tool for my Ripped movies.

Before I get started I want to provide some history.  I built a media center pc using Microsoft Media center and I downloaded a patch to it called "my movies".  I love this took and it works awesome with categorizing all the movices while even providing a Synopsys of the movie.  I basically rip the DVD, then I burn it onto a DVD, which is then copied back onto my hard drive through Media Center Software.  From there, it directly links up to the movie clip art so the menu option is very easy to find the movie I want to watch.  Kind of like On demand.

Anyways, I understand that the EVA8000 has its own softare for categorization but I am having problems with my VOB files.  When I link up the media to the EVA8000 it finds 5 different VOB files which is a pain in the A..

I can use the tag took for the clip art but now there are 5 items for the same movie.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Thank you and I will give it a try.

One last question.  What is the best way for me to connect my media center PC to my EVA8000 when I want to use a wired connection.  I want to put my pc in the basement and put a cat 5 wire connection straight up into my living room.  This way I don't have to mess with the wireless drawbacks.  THanks

Powerline network adapters do the job especially the 200Mbps versions that are out there.  It's just like installing an Ethernet jack except through the power outlet.  I put one in the living room and the other in my home office to connect to my router.  In the living room I also have a 4-port switch for my EVA, Playstation, and Sling and they all connect through my powerline to the Internet.
