Hi to everyone,
i encounter the problem that the remote control form my Philips 42" Plasma display interferes with my newly bought EVA 8000 - Volume up / Volume down on the TV causes the EVA to zomm out my picture (on vol up) respectivly to shift the picture left on vol down....
Anyone got the same problem or has any idea what to do ?

United StatesWhat firmware version are you using? Have you updated to the latest via the "Update" menu? The version can be found under Supervisor/System Information.

hi, I´m still on 1.2.20 GR as my system does not find the upgrade via internet and i didn´t find the upgrade for the IS version either - could the UK FW Upgrade work ?

United StatesUnfortunately, the only version on the Update Servers is the NA version at this time. They are working on translations and seem to be dragging their feet on it. You will need to flash it via a USB drive or network share after obtaining the latest version from NetGear's support forums. Go there and join the Beta program to get access to the files. Your looking for 2.0.150 or later versions, these are the official release versions. DO NOT get the 2.1.XXX versions as those are now the Beta versions. The remote issue was fixed in the latest release version.

Thanks a lot pardizzone ! Followed your instructions and now my EVA is up and running under 2.0.15x like never before ! Seems to be another generation of device - even the problem with the interference of my TVs remote is solved.
Would have never ever found the FW upgrade myself in the deepness of the forums ...
