Do you download and watch it through Windows Media Player 11? If so, you should be able to watch it through the EVA8000 via uPNP. If your streaming it from thier website it probably won't work. Explain in more detail on how you watch it (i.e. download it, authorize it in WMP11 or streaming) and we can see if it will work.

I just did a little reading on it and it looks like it streams in a browser window only. This is not currently supported by the EVA8000 that I know about. The EVA8000 will stream DRM protected content from your pc if you can download it first and store it on a pc locally as done with BitTorrent.com.

I currently use the Netflix service and have tried the "instant watch" feature a few times.  It's cool, but does not seem to download the content to your PC.  It's all locked down in DRM, unfortunately.  As pardizzone stated, it can play DRM'ed content... but as far as I know, Netflix does not save the file locally at all.

If I find out anything new on this, I'll let everyone know.

pardizzone:  You are correct, Netflix streams the content in a browser window.  If this is not currently supported by the EVA8000 then this device will not work for Netflix.  In addition, even if there was a browser on the EVA8000 - Windows XP or Vista is now also a requirement.  If the Netflix website cannot detect Windows XP or Vista, then it will also not play the content [on any device.]

I really wanted the EVA8000 solution to work for Netflix, this is exactly why I joined the forum is to ask the exact same question.  I have not found a good tool, with the exception of putting a full WinXP/Vista machine next to my HDTV (euuuwwaa) which is what I do now with my Laptop.

Through my laptop connected to the HTDV, wireless works 99.9% (only once during the entire Hero's Season I & II did it crap out on us during the show), the picture is perfect, hidef and the sound is clear enough (I have to plug it into my headphone jack, as I dont have good sound output on the laptop)   <<<  This is what I am looking to replace - Any suggestions?
