pardizzone said: I just did a little reading on it and it looks like it streams in a browser window only. This is not currently supported by the EVA8000 that I know about. The EVA8000 will stream DRM protected content from your pc if you can download it first and store it on a pc locally as done with BitTorrent.com.
pardizzone: You are correct, Netflix streams the content in a browser window. If this is not currently supported by the EVA8000 then this device will not work for Netflix. In addition, even if there was a browser on the EVA8000 - Windows XP or Vista is now also a requirement. If the Netflix website cannot detect Windows XP or Vista, then it will also not play the content [on any device.]
I really wanted the EVA8000 solution to work for Netflix, this is exactly why I joined the forum is to ask the exact same question. I have not found a good tool, with the exception of putting a full WinXP/Vista machine next to my HDTV (euuuwwaa) which is what I do now with my Laptop.
Through my laptop connected to the HTDV, wireless works 99.9% (only once during the entire Hero's Season I & II did it crap out on us during the show), the picture is perfect, hidef and the sound is clear enough (I have to plug it into my headphone jack, as I dont have good sound output on the laptop) <<< This is what I am looking to replace - Any suggestions?
