I've been using the EVA8000 for several months now and (after a month of setup issues) now have a usable system for accessing my library of videos, photos and music from my upstairs network. Now I have been able to reliably play all of the above, access YouTube, weather, and the PC itself (although only having a standard def TV makes readability of the screen difficult and accessing email a near impossibility (too bad no provision for zooming in on the desktop for better readability).

The one feature that I haven't been able to get functional is accessing my media from my laptop when I am on the road (similar to how Slingboxes work). I can access them when the laptop is connected to my local network, but if I check the IP addr of my router (as it is viewed from internet) and use that to configure Home View in DEW it says that it is unable to find a Digital Entertainer at this address. Does anybody have any idea on how to do this or what I am doing wrong? When I travel to Germany, having access to my home library is essential, since the only program I can pickup in English is CNN.
