I built my own PC and have a PNY GEFORCE 7300gs 256mb video card.

I am connecting my PC to the Netgear eva8000 via cat 5 cabling.

I backup all my dvd movies onto my 500mb Seagate hard drive.

I just bought a Samsung FPT5084 50in full 1080P plasma tv.

Here is my question.  How can I get my movies to stream through my Netgear eva8000 to my tv so I can view the video in full 1080P format?

Share the folder on your pc containing your movies and then on the EVA8000 add the share through the Network Shares menu under the Supervisor/Advanced menu.

Thanks.  I am actualy available to view the movies from the netgear but only with 1900x1080i resolution.

How do I get the resolution to true HD at 1080P?

Change your EVA8000 to output 1080p under the Supervisor/Advanced/Display menu. You should be able to choose 1080p from the dropdown menu item.

Is the EVA8000 actually doing scaling and de-interlacing in the box?
