I have been having a terrible time trying to get video scripts to work from the HD Entertainer.  I just want to add a video script (.sjv) to a media folder and be able to run it from the HD Entertainer.  I've written many from the Script Wizard and "test"ed them on the Script Wizard and they work fine but when trying to run these same scripts by selecting them from the HD Entertainer file list, I get "Unable to play this media. The media file may be corrupt, or uses an encoding not supported by the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer."

What might I be doing wrong?  Has anyone had success with this?  I've posted this on Netgear support forum and have not received an answer in days so I don't think anyone over there knows how to make it work.
I'm running the latest firmware and software versions.

I have never tried one myself but will try to create one tonight and see what happens.

Well, just tried it and it doesn't work for me either. I can test it and it works but doesn't work if I try to play it directly on the EVA8000. I don't use them myself so I don't really know what the fix is. I would go back and bump your post back at the Netgear Support forums and see if you get an answer from ScholarWarrior. Just an FYI, I am running the latest public firmware (2.0.159NA) and latest DEW.

There is a gentleman that posted in the Netgear group that he has no problems with doing video scripts using the 2.1.42 UK beta version.

I might try the latest beta version.

I've been staying away from the latest one as it has issues with DVD playback (skipping scenes).
