By brute force (and a Phillips Pronto TSU9600), I've discovered a "discrete ON" for the EVA8000 power. The Pronto hex sequence is:
<pre>
5000 0000 0000 0001 0017 0027
</pre>
But I could NOT fins a discrete OFF!! The power toggle is
<pre>
5000 0000 0000 0001 0017 0043
</pre>
I can probably get by with a code that sets power to a known state, and one that toggles it from there, but a real off would be nice. Do any Netcom engineers monitor these threads?

Searching further up the unused codes, another discrete ON and a discrete OFF have been found ar (hex) 0068 and 0083 respectively, so I now have the control I need for my universal remote. But I also suspect from posts on Remote Central that the discretes may be EVA firmware related, so the one quoted are for 1.2.20 (UK) -- the latest available to me (I'm located in Australia, not the UK!!!)
