Right, I`ve seen to come across another annoying problem with NetGear`s dodgy software.

The TAG TOOL. I have edited a number of AVI files which I ripped from DVD`s. I have installed the latest version of the DEW software, I think it`s the Beta version. Where does it state which version it is? NetGear needs to sort out their software NOW, it`s by no way, user friendly.

Anyway, the problem I am having is this. When I tag a file, I use the `ALWAYS SAVE .TAG FILE` option to save a seperate file, so our XBOX 360 can still read the files.

When I open the TAG TOOL and bring up the AVI files, or even the .TAG files, they are empty, blanked out, as if there is no information stored. This is annoying as there dosn`t seem any way to edit TAGs, without re-entering all of the information. And again, when the AVI or TAG file is opened in the TAG TOOL, they appear empty again. The odd one or two show some of the information, but not all. None appear to show the saved image.

When I use `VIEW ARTWORK` listing option on the EV8000, the images show up on screen. When I click on the `Info` button on the remote to show the file information, the image, name, actors, director and file size are shown. Almost all, do not show the moviereview information, although a few do.

When I go back to the TAG TOOL, to re-edit the TAGs with the missing information, the TAGs appear empty again, even though the EVA8000 displays some of the information.

Does anyone have any idea`s on this, as it is really annoying. It`s about time NetGear fixed this thing and it`s dodgy PC software.
