My EVA 8000 is connected with the reciever Harman/Kardon 245 through optical cable connection. The problem is, that the reciever doesn´t recognize the multichannel audio sound ( p.e. AC-3 ). I did some test : I played the movie from the hard disc on EVA, the movie offered 5.1 sound, but on the receiver was only stereo sound from EVA available. Then I burned the same movie on DVD and played on DVD player - 5.1 sound worked. It means the movie files content 5.1 sound, but eva cannot play it. Can anybody help me to force EVA play 5.1 sound ?, or eva don´t have this skill ?
