OK, first post, ordered the 8000, haven't received it yet, but I have a couple of setup questions.

As it stands, I have an XP pro machine connected via LAN cable to a Netgear Rangemax N access point.  I also have a Vista machine connected wirelessly to the same access point.  I have a Netgear WNHDE111 kit with one unit connected via LAN cable to the Rangemax and the other unit planned for the connection to the 8000.  My question is, will the 8000 be able to access files on the Vista machine as well as the XP machine and, if so, how do I set this up?

Question 2:

The WNSHE111 unit which will be connected to the 8000 has two ports.  Can it be connected simultaneously to my Sony Blu ray player?  The reason I ask is that right now both units are set to AUTO.  Will the WNSHE111 serve both the Blu ray and the 8000?

Thanks for any help you can give me on this one!

It will be able to access files on any device you have a share setup on but when using wireless in the mix you may have issues with higher bitrate files. As far as the the bridge, you should be able to connect both devices without issues.

Thanks for the info!
By "setting up a share", do you mean using shared drives on the Vista machine?
If so, do I set the 8000 up as a user?

Yes, it would just be a normal share in Windows. You could set it up with read access for Everyone or with a user account for the EVA if you want it secured.
