Great, I'm glad you found some help. I'm using my ReadyNAS with my EVA and it works very easily. Just make sure that you have sharing enabled and "public" access enabled for the shares you want the EVA to pick up. I would also enable uPnP. Once this is done, the shares on the ReadyNAS should show up when you run a scan from your EVA.

if've just got my new RadyNAS Duo :-)
Now i have a setup question...
within the Streaming Services Configuration i have different posibilities for configuring my streaming client EVA8000
Wich is the right configuration?

[] iTunes Streaming Server
[] UPnP AV
[] Home Media Streaming Server
The manual doesnt give any hints how to configure the ReadyNAS for EVA8000
