I can play a video then try to play it or another valid video it tells me that it cannot be found or is not a valid type. If I unplug EVA8000 for about 30 seconds, restart, and play a video file through my Gbit LAN, videos work OK (except for buffering insufficient) until it hits any kind of error or I stop for a while. Then it cannot play any video, even one it just finished playing successfully. It says the file type is not supported or it cannot be found. Resets do not help. Music and photos work OK all the time. I am using firmware version 2.1.83NA (the latest version I could find). I there a trick to getting EVA to remember the paths or a better firmware version, even a beta version to use?I have cat 6 either cable from the EVA to a Netgear GS-608 switch to a ReadyNas NV server. The LAN is controlled by a Netgear RP614 Gb router with hard coded MAC addresses to a Comcast supplied cable modem for DNS. Obviously the connection is over 20Mbit/sec. The search results are stored in their own share on the server. I already found out that if you put the data and the search results in one "media" share, you get an endless (about 16) recursion until the system hangs for a paths are too long.

Because EVA abbreviates the middle part of the path on the TV display, I cannot see if the path is corrupted. Again this only happens to videos. Music and photos work properly all the time.
