Whether you can view the files with your EVA9150 depends largely on how these files are encoded. If you can get to the files on your DVR either through a PC or through some other means, let us know what format the files are in; e.g., AVI, MPG, etc. I am not familiar with what format the Time Warner DVR's record in - it could be a proprietary format that no other player can recognize.
Is anyone else out there more familiar with the Time Warner DVR's?

I have content saved on a Time-Warner high-definition DVR. Can the EVA9150 copy from the DVR to its internal hard drive? How do I do it?

Can I just connect the two and play from the DVR and record on the EVA9150?
