On my NAS I have a share : Media folder (and sub folders...). I use CIF and NFS set to read/write.

On may EVA I can see my NAS and I choose it. Using the wizard, my EVA scan my share to find medias. At the end, my EVA want to save data on my NAS, 2 choices : on my share Media or something like Mnt/hdd/puclic/EVADATA
But If i choose both of them I have an error because my EVA tells me it is write protected !!! SO my EVA is disturbed not to be able to write librairy data...
But CIF and NFS are read/write enabled on my NAS...

Can you help me ?

Try creating a share that is entirely public, it's an option you can check in the share settings. That might help it work for you.

Thank you for your answer.

I will try it and give you an ansawer.

But I thought that the share "Media" was public, it is created by default on the DUO. Do you how can I check it on the DUO (I jsut find the option when creating a share).

Because I like to understand, do you know what is / where is "Mnt/hdd/puclic/EVADATA" whichis a location to save data for the EVA whren using the installation wizard ?
I udenrsand the other choice (it is my media sahre...) but not this one.

And, in the EVA menus I find an option to save/load data librairy from the IHD of the EVA. What the difference with saving it on NAS. Is it a copy in case of problem ? Do you know the problem if EVA can't copy data on the NAS ?

Sorry to ask many questions... but I ll be happy to understand

(sorry for my english).

I see on the netgear forum you have posted the same question.

I have WD Sharespace as part of my home network.
I am trying to connect to the NAS through configuration wizard but I get a message that "network driver is not shareable"
Although the setting on NAS is already made as shareable.

Can i get help from someone who have a similar setup
