The Stora performs admirably at this, but don't...

NETGEAR Stora "Recommended" by TrustedReviews (Press Release)

The latest addition to the award-winning family of storage appliances from NETGEAR has been recommended by TrustedReviews , the UK's premier source for technology news and reviews. Stora ( MS2110 ), from the leading network and storage vendor, was awarded a score of 9/10 along with the publication's ' recommended ' accolade. The reviewer observes the Stora's 'well considered' features and 'very easy to use interface which should be usable by even the most adamant technophobe'. The full review can be found here . The reviewer was impressed with the 'incredibly easy set-up' and 'almost insultingly simple' process of changing a drive. He also notes configuring Stora could 'hardly be simpler' and was convinced that even the most computer illiterate of his elderly relatives 'would have no problems using Stora .' Stora's GBP 190 price point for 1TB of storage , with a spare bay for protection against disk failure, was praised as an 'affordable' NAS device. Peter Airs, Consumer Storage Product Line Manager at NETGEAR , commented: " Stora is our first network storage product designed from scratch for the novice user. The stylish, intuitive web interface and unique ease of use allows users to manage their digital media...

Hello Over the years I have collected a movie library in the hundreds. MY WIFE has given me the wife ultimatum and now must find a storage solutions in do haste. My research has lead me to Western Digital’s ShareSpace 8tb hard drives. There seems to be a multitude of options all with different pros and cons. I narrowed my choice down to the ShareSpace because of cost and ease of use but not sure of the capability issues with EVA 9150. Can anyone help shed light if this might be the right approach and or different options out there? I need my life to return TO some sort of sanity in home and movie theater Thank you JMB
