Skin issue, please help!

Hello! I've got a problem. I've had my EVA8000 for about 10 months, everything works fine except for one thing, the skin issue! Right now my skin selected is FlareHD and I want to change that skin to another, however, I can't find any skin that I am happy with. So I decided to create one myself using Adobe Photoshop, what I did was that I used FlareHD as a template and just added a new background and used FlareHD as an overlay making it look like this: The only files that I changed was: flip.jpg full.jpg main.jpg pip.jpg The size and resolution of my created images are exactly the same as the original FlareHD, the only differance it that the files sizes themselves are increased. I copied the whole "FlareHD" folder and renamed it to "GrimReaper". Then I just pasted in my created images in the "background" folder, replacing the existing ones. Then I put my "GrimReaper" folder in my Data Save Location as a subfolder to skins i.e. /EVAData/skins/GrimReaper. After that I power up my EVA8000 then I go to More > Supervisor functions > Advanced settings > Display and screensaver and load "GrimReaper". When I press the...

EVA-8000 Broke needs repair

Does anyone know who can repair an EVA-8000 that will not power on? I spent over 3 hours in 4 calls to Netgear customer support and was basically told that they do not repair the unit and would not sell me one of the circuit boards. A large disapointment given what this box costs! This product must be a step child for Netgear. I have another 8000 of the same vintage as well as a 9150 and they both work fine. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi, I've just installed a new ReadyNas. The EVA8000 can see it and scan for media files. I can access it from my PC and read/write to it. But when I select a music file on the EVA to play it says it can't find it. Anyone have ideas as to what I need to do? Fynz
