Movie Link Content??

Anyone try to download and view Movie Link rental content with the EVA8000? The files are WMF format so are viewable on Windows Media Player but don't seem to get recognized by the EV Software. Movie Link sends some licensing along with the content I think. Thanks!

Stage6 HD Vids

Anybody else downloading the videos from the Stage6 video site? They have a bunch of great HD content that all play on my EVA8000 and look awesome on my 50" Sony SXRD. Here are some of my favorites: Halo 3 Trailer - Mini Movie in 720p Jake Shimabukuro - Ukulele God, Unbelievable! Ironman Trailer Harold and Kumar 2 - Hilarious When you get to the screen with the videos, click on the "download arrow" instead of the play button and save it to an EVA share. Post if you find some other cool vids.

Media Center No Viiv

I don't have a Viiv Intel chip set, but I have an intel centrino duo with vista. I was wondering if it is possible to get my media center to wireless stream to my tv. I have connected and the EVA700 finds my music, video, and pictures on both my laptop(Windows Vista) and desktop (windows XP/No Viiv). However, when I go to Media Center on my Laptop (vista), there is an option for an "extender", but I can't set up the Eva700 as an extender, and the manual is no help. Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated. Happy D.

Video RSS feeds that work - and are worth viewing

I've been experimenting with more RSS feeds and so far here are a few feeds that work, and are actually worth watching: CEREALIZED http://www.cerealized.com/podcast/podcast.xml This comedy series is reminiscent of 70's sitcoms, with a Seinfeld feel, and cable access show production quality. Compared to most web-based shows (and almost everything on YouTube) this show is well written, filmed and performed. Definitely worth checking out. SHORT FILM OF THE WEEK http://feeds.feedburner.com/ShortFilmOfTheWeekthis I really enjoy short films, mostly because they lack the typical commercial influences, but also because they are a more accurate reflection of our societal views. This feed has some great films, unfortunately only about half of them are viewable with the EVA, but checkout this feed on the web to enjoy these films. TACO WEDNESDAY http://www.tacowednesday.com/podcast/tacocast.rss Taco Wednesday is a comedy-centric independent film production group located in Berkeley, California. This collection of shorts are entertaining, but with a strong “Berkeley-style” message. Some of it can get pretty heavy, so if you’re in the mood for a sit-com, watch ‘Ceralized’. YOUR AVERAGE ZOMBIES http://www.youraveragezombies.com/podcast/feed.xml This acting group provides some okay entertainment – not nearly as good as Ceralized or TikiBarTV. Their production quality is pretty low and their scripts are...

RSS Feeds / Video Podcasts???

I've had my EVA8000 for a few days now and have been running through the feature set. I've had success with Internet Radio, watching YouTube videos, and viewing/listening to my own content (photo, video, and music) via my network and through a USB connection. Being a HUGE fan of TikibarTV, I watched a few episodes from my harddrive, but then decided to hook it up on my EVA via RSS feed. Using DEFW I was able to easily add it and several other RSS feed addresses (text, audio and video). My problem with video podcasts via iTunes is the download time, so EVA seems like a great opportunity. Well, after adding a couple dozen feeds I was only able to get a few to actually load. The feeds were all visible, but only a few had the play button accessible to view or listen to the media content. I checked the feeds for info on the web, and they all seemed to be MP4 or MOV files which all loaded fine on my PC. RSS feeds (especially for video podcasts) would seem to be the best way to view content on the EVA - no hassling with downloading the content...
