I have two mpeg-2 encoded files, one will play on the EVA8000, one wont, using the mediaInfo program mentionned in one of the posts I can see that the format of the files are identical, and both conform seemingly to the acceptible criteria for playing.

the only difference I can see is that the interlacement of the file that wont play is top field first.

Is there anything else I can look at to troublshoot this further? would the interlacement cause the issue?

I have the same problem with both the latest release, and the latest beta.
