That's sounds normal as the files will still be listed in the library until you do a full rescan and it doesn't find them then removes the entries.

It will not work with uPNP servers other then WPM11 for DRMed media (Netgear removed the support for other uPNP servers like Twonky, etc). You need to map directly to SMB shares on the NAS.

Did you check the file permissions also? Make sure Everyone has at least read permissions on both the Sharing and Security tabs.
