The USB port offers lot of possibilities for input/output devices. I am thinking more in lines of a showing of caller-id/friends-name as a message/alert on the TV Screen. Little VB to tie Skype & DEW...

I experience this often with Avi/Xvid. Most of the time multiple stop/play after the pause fixes this. -ml
